Information we collect

When you enquire about a rental, request a quote, book the vehicle, or leave a review, we may collect:

• Your name, email address and WhatsApp/phone number.
• Your pickup and return dates, locations and passenger numbers.
• Your ID or passport number and driver's licence number.
• A photo or scan of your ID/passport and driver's licence, which we require to confirm eligibility to rent and to complete the rental agreement.
• Payment details, processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
• Any notes, messages or review content you choose to send us.

How we use your information

We use your information only to:

• Confirm availability, process your booking and prepare your rental agreement.
• Verify your identity and driver's licence, as required to rent a vehicle in Namibia.
• Arrange delivery or collection at Swakopmund, Hosea Kutako International Airport or Walvis Bay International Airport.
• Contact you about your booking, including confirmations and any changes.
• Process payments and refunds, including your refundable deposit.
• Display reviews you choose to submit publicly on our website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties except where needed to complete your rental (for example, our payment processor) or where required by Namibian law.

ID, passport and driver's licence photos

The booking form on this website is currently running in preview mode while we finish connecting our payment provider. In this preview, any ID/passport or driver's licence photo you attach stays on your own device and is not uploaded to us — it is not transmitted, stored or emailed anywhere. Once live payments are connected, these documents will be sent securely to our booking inbox as part of your confirmation email, used solely to verify your eligibility to rent and to complete your rental agreement, and kept only as long as necessary for the rental, insurance and legal record-keeping purposes described below.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently use tracking cookies, analytics scripts or advertising pixels. If that changes in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

How long we keep your information

We keep booking records, including identification details, for as long as necessary to complete your rental, resolve any dispute or damage claim, and meet our accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete personal information we no longer need to keep for those reasons.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Delete information we are not required to keep.
